These terms serve as a legally binding agreement between parties, establishing the parameters for usage, obligations, and potential consequences. It is crucial for users or customers to carefully review and understand these terms before proceeding

Terms and Conditions

Domain Registration

Pre-Requisites
  • Full name of domain owner (Any Individual or Organization)
  • Valid E-mail address for communication because an email will be sent by main authority for verification of records.
  • Complete and valid postal address for notifications, if & when required.
  • For country specific domains registration, requirements are as follows:

Registration Process
  • Minimum domain registration period is for one year
  • Availability of domain name will be checked through authentic domain checker(s) at the time of registration process.
  • Domain name will be processed for registration after payment confirmation.
  • DNS update request will be entertained via registered e-mail address only through email at sales@nexus.pk

Domain Ownership Transfer

Pre-Requisites
  • Customers must wait 60 days for any transfer/changes after the initial registration or any previous transfers to initiate a transfer request. An email will be sent to previous and new registrant on their registered email for approval of domain transfer request.
  • Domain status should be unlocked for transfer of domain
  • Whois record must be updated.
  • Client need to provide EPP code in case of domain transfer from previous registrar to Nexus technologies.
  • In case, primary email address is not accessible then you have to contact at billing@nexus.pk for further processing.

Transfer Process

New Transfer Policy w.e.f 1st December’ 2016.

Inter-Registrar Transfers:

  • • After initiation of transfer request based on EPP Code, an approval email will be sent to both registrar (current & New) for their consent.
  • An approval email will be expired after 60 days of initiation, if the transfer request is not approved from both registrars.

Inter-Registrant Transfers:  

  • For change of ownership from one person to another person you have to provide us complete detail of new person for separate Billing profile and $10 will be charged for New billing profile.
  • After that an approval email will be send on both owner of domain (current & new) for their consent.
  • If the Prior Registrant and New Registrant do not confirm the change within 60 days of the request, the change implementation will not proceed.
  • Once both Prior and New Registrant parties agree to the requested contact changes, the information will be updated within 1 day after.
  • You can update your whois record through your client area.

Please Note:Such transfers may take 5-10 working days for accomplishment.

Financial Terms & Conditions

FREE Domain
FREE Domain is available with Annual Billing Cycle on ALL Hosting Packages. However, Terms & Conditions are as follows:

Domain Payment
  • No Refund Policy for Domain registration, in any case.
  • Payment can be made through any of the published Payment Modes
  • ll Pricing mentioned on website is valid for Domain Registrations, Domain Transfers and Domain Renewals.
  • In case of auto renewal of domain, Customer is requested to clear the annual payment before transferring domain.
  • For domains related queries and issues, Terms and conditions will be applicable according to relevant regulatory bodies.
  • All prices are in US dollars and its the complete fee to register a domain name. There are no hidden fees to any party.
  • The price for all TLDs includes registration in the corresponding registry & Domain Control panel.

Domain Renewal / Expiry

  • Domain name can be renewed maximum within 10-12 days after expiry date and this will be as a courtesy and not as an obligation (contractual or otherwise)
  • After expiration, the domain status will be considered in redemption. During the redemption period, the domain will be inaccessible and there will be no guarantee for its retrieval.
  • To renew a domain name during redemption phase, registrant must pay the Redemption Fee associated with that particular domain. Annual renewal fee will also be paid along with redemption fee.
  • Redemption fee may vary according to each domain registry and are subject to change without notice, fee details can be asked by emailing billing@nexus.pk
  • Nexus Technologies will Not Guarantee the Renewal of the Expired Domain with Redemption Status.
  • All prices are in US dollars and its the complete fee to register a domain name. There are no hidden fees to any party.
  • The price for all TLDs includes registration in the corresponding registry & Domain Control panel.
  • In Case Domain Renewal Fails from Redemption Status, Customer amount will be credit in his/her billing Profile.

Domain Cancellation

  • Customers are required to notify us about the cancellation of domain Renewal prior to their due dates.
  • In case of auto renewal of domain, customer is requested to clear the dues first.
  • Nexus reserves the right to cancel the domain registration at any time, if that domain name is indulged in any unethical activity that violate the laws of government and cybercrime regulatory authority.

  • This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Pakistan Courts.

  • The party requesting registration of this name certifies that, to her/his knowledge, the use of this name does not violate trademark or other statues. The domain name will be cancelled, if a third party provides evidence of a registered trademark that is violated, or the same company name registered within or outside Pakistan.

  • Registering a domain name does not confer any legal rights to that name and any disputes between parties over the rights to use a specific name are to be settled between the contending parties using normal legal methods. (See RFC 1591).

  • The domain name registration procedure will follow INTERNIC guidelines as documented in various RFCs. In the case of conflicts with PKNIC policies, precedence will be given to the PKNIC policies, please review policies here

  • No adjudication is made by PKNIC and its agents as to whether the applicant has a legitimate right to a name. The applicant, in lodging the request for a name, informs the registry that they are entitled to use the name as requested.

  • Acceptance of the listing entry by PKNIC and its agents confers no rights to the applicant regarding the legitimacy or otherwise of the association of the name with the applicant, nor does it confer to the applicant any other rights associated with ownership of the name, or any rights to its use.

  • All registration information will be considered as information within the public domain, and will be accessible using the Internet as the publication vehicle. No provision is made concerning acceptance of information under any imposed condition of confidentiality or non-disclosure.

  • PKNIC reserves the right to refuse to register a name if most of the members of PKNIC Appeals Committee by voting or polling that it may be offensive.

  • Any domain that is registered by PKNIC and later found to be in violation of the PKNIC policies or this Agreement will be revoked and made available for others to register.

  • PKNIC has neither the resources nor the legal obligation to screen requested Domain Names to determine if the use of a Domain Name by an Applicant may infringe upon the right(s) of a third party. Consequently, as an express condition and material inducement of the grant of an applicant’s request to register a Domain Name, Applicant represents, agrees and warrants as follows:

    1. All information shared by applicant Must be genuine and based on that Applicant reserves the right to use the Domain Name as requested in the application.

    2. Applicant has a bona fide intention to use the Domain Name on a regular basis on the Internet.

    3. The use or registration of the Domain Name by Applicant does not interfere with or infringe the right of any third party in any jurisdiction with respect to trademark, service mark, tradename, company name or any other intellectual property right.

    4. Applicant is not seeking to use the Domain Name for any unlawful purpose, including, without limitation, tortious interference with contract or prospective business advantage, unfair competition, injuring the reputation of another, or for the purpose of confusing or misleading a person, whether natural or incorporated.

    5. PKNIC or Nexus WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS). REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF PKNIC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  • Order Processing Time for .pk Domain:

    • Dear All, We would like to inform you that from now onwards, all .pk domain orders are also available after 5 pm on daily basis and orders received after 5pm will be proceeded next day.

  • General Conditions:

    • Regular price will be charged till due date.

    • Regular price + Late fee will be charged after due date.

    • Regular price + Late fee + Redemption fee will be charged if grace period also lapsed, without renewal.

    • Discount may Only be provided in case of Domain registration performed by Nexus Staff.

    • No Discount via PayPal Or CC processing.

    • Minimum processing time is 12-24 hours for Domain Registration & Renewal, both Local and International PK Domains.

    • Customers with International address may Process their Domain order as per International Price or Click here for further process

    • CNIC is Compulsory for all local clients, failing to share the CNIC or providing false information may lead to cancellation of domain registration immediately on identification.

    • Identification Number, Complete address, Valid Contact Number and Country Name are Compulsory for all International clients. Nexus reserves the right to terminate the domain on proof of any wrong information provided by the Client.

    • Any Domain Registered for local or International Customer Violating policy as intimated by Pakistan Interior Agency and PKNIC will be Shut down immediately.

    • Domain Control Panel is NOT included in .pk domain registration since it is Not provided by PKNIC.

    • Domain modifications for all .pk domain registrations will have to be carried out by contacting our Team via Nexus Support Portal

    • Customer may follow the predefined procedure as per PKNIC Registry for Correcting/Updating any Registrant Record Information of local or International Domains. Nexus will Not Be Responsible if Domain get Expired or Suspended during the procedure. Moreover, Nexus has the right to hold the renewal of such domain records.

    • DNS Zone Management & Domain Forwarder are not included and would be opted as an Add-on.

    Note : No panel will be provided for these add-on, Nexus will entertain your request via ticket to respective department.

Pre-Requisites:

 

  • Valid DOMAIN is compulsory and other required details includes Name, Phone Number, Company name, Postal Address, City and Country.
  • E-mail address i.e. hostmaster@domainname.com will be required. For any queries, please contact our sales department.


SSL Terms and Conditions

  • SSL can be installed for 1-year only, effected from September 1, 2020.
  • In case a client wants to pay for more than 1-year period then SSL will be installed for 1-year and remaining amount will be added as credit under billing profile for future use.
  • No refund, no transfer of credit request will be entertained
  • SSL certificate may be issued on same day but installation may take 24-48 hours.
  • Same SSL certificate renewal will not be possible if invoice is not paid before due date.
  • Client will not be able to transfer the certificate from one domain to another once it is installed.
  • In case of due order/unpaid invoice, order processing of SSL may vary from 2-3 working days or subject to clearance of invoice payment.
  • Nexus may not be liable for any warranty provided by SSL provider and in that case, client may need to pursue the SSL provider.
  • All pre-requisites must be emailed to support@nexus.pk for SSL installation else installation may cause delay as per customer’s response.


Renewal Cancellation Process:

  • Order cancellation/ domain modification is only possible within an hour or order.
  • In case of SSL renewal, you must request for the previous order cancellation.
  • After order, cancellation payment can be adjusted for another certification but there will be NO REFUND.
  • Cancellations over the phone or unregistered email or ticket are not accepted. Nexus does not monitor cancellations using this practice, and will not automatically cancel the order except from registered ID.

Basic Hosting

    • Basic Packages are recommended Only for Personal and Portfolio websites. We may not guarantee these services for Business websites.
    • All services exclusive of this package may be availed as an add-on that will be charged separately
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend the client’s website if their Disk space, Bandwidth, CPU Usage, Email or FTP accounts exceeds from their assigned limit.
    • Nexus may Not be responsible if client’s services got suspended on unauthorized use of resources.
    • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for hosting package recommendation. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the growth rate of your website. In other case, we may not guarantee the stability of your website.

Backup Terms

  • Free Monthly Backup service is included in all the Basic Hosting packages, as a courtesy to cover any Natural Disaster, Server Crash & Customer Negligence with 1 Month Retention & will be overrided in case of Next Backup. Client Can Request (1) One Restore for Free as included in Package. In Case of Cancellation, Termination & Crash, Nexus may not guarantee this courtesy backup.Monthly Backup Schedule: 1st of every month, Backup completion & availability May be dependent upon data size can vary from 1-2 days.

    However, in case of daily or weekly then Add-on service are to acquire in separate, we advise Clients to keep their own Backups as well to avoid any Inconvenience.

  • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.

.pk Domain Plus Hosting

    • All PK + Hosting Packages are minimum for 2 Year as per the PK domain Registration cycle.
    • Customers Have already PK domain with Nexus Can avail the Free domain facility by Acquiring any of the PK + Hosting package which billing & Sales department will Sync.
    • PK domain & Hosting is coupled in the Package and are not transferrable or exchangeable with any other domain or hosting package of client already with Nexus Technologies.
    • Upon Cancelation of package customer/ Client hosting Package will be Canceled, still PK domain will remain active for the said period and will be customer’s property.
    • Customers have the right to change the name server and can also transfer the domain following SOPS, client will be advice to reach billing@nexus.pk
    • SPAM / Mass Mail, Marketing Mail or breach of AUP will lead to suspension.
    • In-Case of Non-Payment Services will be suspended automatically.
    • After Registration of Domain & Hosting, upon cancelation of Package No refund will be claimed.

  • Free Monthly Backup service is included in the package, as a courtesy to cover any Natural Disaster, Server Crash & Customer Negligence with 1 Month Retention & will be overrided in case of Next Backup. In Case of Cancellation, Termination & Crash, Nexus may not guarantee this courtesy backup.Monthly Backup Schedule: 15th / Mid of every month Weekly Backup Schedule: Weekly Day may vary for server to server managed by NexusBackup completion & availability May be dependent upon data size, can vary from 1-2 days. However, in case of daily backup, Add-on service needs to be acquired in separate and we advise Clients to keep their own Backups as well to avoid any Inconvenience.

Reseller Hosting

    • All services exclusive of this package may be availed as an add-on that will be charged separately.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend the Reseller account, if their Disk space, Bandwidth, CPU Usage, Email or FTP accounts exceeds from their assigned limit.
    • Nexus may Not be responsible if Reseller’s services got suspended on unauthorized use of resources and we may not guarantee backup services in this case. Reseller is solely responsible for making back-up copies of the Reseller Websites and Content.
    • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for Reseller package recommendation. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the reseller clients and website usage. In other case, we may not guarantee the stability of your website.
    • Accounts under reseller packages will not be entertained for support via Nexus & will be directed to reseller.
    • Dedicated Support by reseller will be charged additionally in case reseller account is directing customers and account under his/her reseller account to nexus support, an invoice will be added automatically in Reseller Invoice.
    • Any customer under reseller account if is transferred to any packages is customer choice.
    • One (1) IP is used for the primary reseller account all IPless resold accounts. The remaining two (2) IPs are used for Private Nameservers.
    • Justification is required for all IP address assignments. All requests must comply with RFC2050.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.
    • Reseller will be responsible in case of any illegal and unauthorized use of resources by its reseller accounts and Nexus will not be liable to anyone in this case.

Backup Terms

  • Backups: Free Monthly & Weekly Backup service are included in all Business packages with 1 Month & 1 Week Retention as a courtesy to cover any Natural Disaster, Server Crash & Customer Negligence & will be overrided in case of Next Backup. Client Can Request (1) One Restore for Free for any monthly/weekly backup and is included in Package. In Case of Cancellation, Termination & Crash, Nexus may not guarantee this courtesy backup.
    Monthly Backup Schedule: 1st of every month, Backup completion & availability May be dependent upon data size can vary from 1-2 days. However, in case of daily or weekly then Add-on service are to be acquired in separate, we advise Clients to keep their own Backups as well to avoid any Inconvenience.
  • Nexus Reserves the right to suspend any underpaid Re-seller identified at any point of time, as per the packages advertised prices, or on the basis of wrong $ conversion, as per applicable Billing Policy.

VPS & Dedicated Server Hosting

    • All services exclusive of this package may be availed as an add-on that will be charged separately.
    • Nexus may Not be responsible if client’s services got suspended on unauthorized use of resources and we may not guarantee backup services in this case.
    • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for Server recommendation. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the utilization and required resources. In other case, we may not guarantee the stability of your server.
    • Weekly and Monthly backups are maintained by Nexus and may be provided as an add-on in .tar and .gz file. In other case, Clients are advised to keep their own backups as well to avoid any inconvenience. However, in Case of Cancellation, Termination & Crash, Nexus may not guarantee this backup.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.
    • Server Setup including Hardware Installation, OS and Software level updates may take 24-48 hours.
    • Managed and Unmanaged services will be provided as per the Client’s approval. Any support required for unmanaged server may be charged separately.

Cloud Based Email Services

Backup Mail Services
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.
    • Nexus removes blacklisted IP as a courtesy and may Not be held responsible in case of service suspension due to IP blacklisting.
    • In case of Support required from third party i.e. Yahoo, Google etc. Clients are advised to wait till 24 hours.
    • Backup is optional and may be opted as an add-on that will be charged separately.
    • The services provided for this package are independent and have no relationship with other Hosting packages.
Mail Solutions
    • All services exclusive of this package may be availed as an add-on.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend services without any notice for Spam generation.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.
    • The services provided for this package are independent and have no relationship with other Hosting packages.

Hybrid Cloud Terms and Conditions

 

  • Nexus Technologies provides state of the art cloud solutions for your Website/Application. We are providing services from low end budget up to your desired requirements & You will get a secured solution for your Website/Application. Security is a primary concern for Nexus as the data of the customers are more important for us.
  • Note: If your Website/Application gets hacked, it doesn`t mean that your Dedicated cloud VM/server is hacked as, we are providing security for your Dedicated Cloud VM.
  • The Client agrees that the Hosting Provider is not liable for any bugs, performance issues or failure of their software / Application. Any bugs, performance issues or failure with the software will be directed responsibility of the Development team.
  • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for Any package. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the growth rate of your website or web solution. In other case, we may not guarantee the stability of your website. For any customized package you can reach us at sales@nexus.pk
  • Client must agree to take full responsibility for his/her files/data transferred to and must maintain appropriate backup of his/her files/data stored on Nexus servers. Nexus will not be responsible for any data/file loss.
  • Nexus’s aim is to provide 100% uptime for all our services to our clients but maintenance at our datacentres will be required, every 2-3 months.
  • Nexus strictly forbids websites with adult graphic content (softcore and/or hardcore), including but not limited to, banner advertising, any adult website(s), child pornography, and distribution of adult website passwords. On violation of this policy, Nexus reserves the right to terminate Client’s account without notice and are subject to a maximum clean-up/disconnect fee. Incase of any violation you can reach us at abuse@nexus.pk
  • Nexus will inform 24 hours prior to maintenance activity to all the clients via email on registered email addresses provided by the customer. In addition, we also advise all our customers to back up their latest data before the planned maintenance activity to avoid any inconvenience.
  • Any Customization for Nexus Cloud Packages / Dedicated Cloud VM will not be entertained. After order processed.
  • Cloud Packages / Dedicated Cloud VM setup may take up to 4 hours to 12 hours depending on the client’s requirement after the order is done.
  • Bandwidth’s limit will be as per the selected package by the customer. However, Customer can request for an additional bandwidth and it will be considered as an add-on and charged as per additional bandwidth policy. For details, Check our Addons
  • By ordering for any Hybrid Cloud Package, Client will automatically be accepting our all Policies

 

Package Upgrade & Downgrade

 

  • Customers may upgrade or shift to new upgraded Cloud package / Hybrid Cloud VM. Pre-requisites for upgrading includes customer request via registered email address through client area. Upgrade process requires a minimum of 15-30 minutes of downtime in case node is full with resources. Nexus support team will coordinate with the customer with-in 2 hours of the up-gradation request.
  • Customers are only allowed to upgrade an existing Hybrid Cloud VM Packages to higher packages; down-gradation of cloud packages is not permissible.

 

Billing Cycle

 

  • Nexus is Liable to Suspend and recover the difference amount in case any customer is underpaying subject to advertised price.
  • All orders will be processed after the payment clearance. Customer will pay in advance for their desired or selected Hybrid Cloud VM Packages & Nexus Cloud package, Billing Cycle starts from the date of start of commence of services of every month.
  • NO Refund – In case of Cancelation of services, any refund will be adjusted in the form or credit with your account.
  • Nexus will NOT be responsible for any Data Loss after the services are stopped due to non-payment. However, it is advised to Customers that please inform Nexus regarding their payment delay issue.
  • Customers Must have to pay before the due date with 3 days’ grace period. If customer is unable to pay his/her bill within the grace period, all services will be Suspended without any further notice. Unsuspension will be subject to clearance of all dues.
  • Termination: 5 days after the grace period, Machine will be terminated.


Backup Policy

  • NO Backup of Hybrid Cloud VM Packages & Cloud Packages are maintained other than those who have opted Backup as an Addon Service
  • Backup Type would be i.e. Server Image / Snapshot Image
  • Custom Backup Requirement other than default then Customer need to reach up to Support & Billing Staff, it will be charged as an Addon Services and will be billed separately.

  • Backup retention period as per policy is as below once in a month, only 1 backup will be maitained which will be overwrited, once new Backup is generated. Nexus will back up its customers Dedicated cloud VM / Could Packages as per the opted Backup subscription addon, below is the subscription detail for Backup execution:

    a. Monthly Snapshot Backup cycle : Last Sunday 30th/31st of Every Month 12:00 Midnight as Per PST
    b. Weekly Snapshot Backup cycle : Each Weekly Sunday within Every Month 12:00 Midnight as Per PST

  • Customer can request for restoration process only once in a month, additional restoration requests will charge to customer as an Add-on service and will be billed separately.
  • Nexus will be responsible for the restoration of Dedicated Cloud VM only. Any data within your website/application doesn’t fall in the backup policy of Nexus Technologies. Data within website/application will be customer’s responsibility.

    • We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to make revisions to the design. However, we have the right to limit the number of design proposals to a reasonable amount and may charge for additional designs if you make a change to the original design specification.
    • Both parties may cancel web development service at any time by giving at least 1 week prior notice.
    • If Agreement is terminated by any party (Clients or Nexus) prior to completion of the website, a calculation on work completed and unbilled will be made, including all work in progress and this payment is required by the Client within seven (7) days.
    • Nexus reserves the right to decline further work on a project if there are invoices outstanding with the Client.
    • Nexus is not responsible for errors on third party software.
    • For Standard Package: Nexus will keep a copy of the site and design source files when a website project is being worked on. However, the Client agrees that it is their responsibility to have regular backups made by themselves or the third party hosting services in case of a software or hardware failure at the third party hosting servers.
    • All fees quoted for projects exclude web hosting, domain name registration, copywriting, stock imagery, font licenses, liaising/setting up hosting or email, purchasing of third party plugins, or any other conditions outlined in the proposal document.

Domain Registration

Pre-Requisites

Registration Process
  • Minimum domain registration period is for one year
  • Availability of domain name will be checked through authentic domain checker(s) at the time of registration process.
  • Domain name will be processed for registration after payment confirmation.
  • DNS update request will be entertained via registered e-mail address only through email at sales@nexus.pk

Domain Ownership Transfer

Pre-Requisites
  • Customers must wait 60 days for any transfer/changes after the initial registration or any previous transfers to initiate a transfer request. An email will be sent to previous and new registrant on their registered email for approval of domain transfer request.
  • Domain status should be unlocked for transfer of domain
  • Whois record must be updated.
  • Client need to provide EPP code in case of domain transfer from previous registrar to Nexus technologies.
  • In case, primary email address is not accessible then you have to contact at billing@nexus.pk for further processing.

Transfer Process

New Transfer Policy w.e.f 1st December’ 2016.

Inter-Registrar Transfers:

  • • After initiation of transfer request based on EPP Code, an approval email will be sent to both registrar (current & New) for their consent.
  • An approval email will be expired after 60 days of initiation, if the transfer request is not approved from both registrars.

Inter-Registrant Transfers:  

  • For change of ownership from one person to another person you have to provide us complete detail of new person for separate Billing profile and $10 will be charged for New billing profile.
  • After that an approval email will be send on both owner of domain (current & new) for their consent.
  • If the Prior Registrant and New Registrant do not confirm the change within 60 days of the request, the change implementation will not proceed.
  • Once both Prior and New Registrant parties agree to the requested contact changes, the information will be updated within 1 day after.
  • You can update your whois record through your client area.

Please Note:Such transfers may take 5-10 working days for accomplishment.

FREE Domain
FREE Domain is available with Annual Billing Cycle on ALL Hosting Packages. However, Terms & Conditions are as follows:

Domain Payment
  • No Refund Policy for Domain registration, in any case.
  • Payment can be made through any of the published Payment Modes
  • ll Pricing mentioned on website is valid for Domain Registrations, Domain Transfers and Domain Renewals.
  • In case of auto renewal of domain, Customer is requested to clear the annual payment before transferring domain.
  • For domains related queries and issues, Terms and conditions will be applicable according to relevant regulatory bodies.
  • All prices are in US dollars and its the complete fee to register a domain name. There are no hidden fees to any party.
  • The price for all TLDs includes registration in the corresponding registry & Domain Control panel.

Domain Renewal / Expiry

  • Domain name can be renewed maximum within 10-12 days after expiry date and this will be as a courtesy and not as an obligation (contractual or otherwise)
  • After expiration, the domain status will be considered in redemption. During the redemption period, the domain will be inaccessible and there will be no guarantee for its retrieval.
  • To renew a domain name during redemption phase, registrant must pay the Redemption Fee associated with that particular domain. Annual renewal fee will also be paid along with redemption fee.
  • Redemption fee may vary according to each domain registry and are subject to change without notice, fee details can be asked by emailing billing@nexus.pk
  • Nexus Technologies will Not Guarantee the Renewal of the Expired Domain with Redemption Status.
  • All prices are in US dollars and its the complete fee to register a domain name. There are no hidden fees to any party.

Domain Cancellation

  • Customers are required to notify us about the cancellation of domain Renewal prior to their due dates.
  • In case of auto renewal of domain, customer is requested to clear the dues first.
  • Nexus reserves the right to cancel the domain registration at any time, if that domain name is indulged in any unethical activity that violate the laws of government and cybercrime regulatory authority.

  • This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Pakistan Courts.

  • The party requesting registration of this name certifies that, to her/his knowledge, the use of this name does not violate trademark or other statues. The domain name will be cancelled, if a third party provides evidence of a registered trademark that is violated, or the same company name registered within or outside Pakistan.

  • Registering a domain name does not confer any legal rights to that name and any disputes between parties over the rights to use a specific name are to be settled between the contending parties using normal legal methods. (See RFC 1591).

  • The domain name registration procedure will follow INTERNIC guidelines as documented in various RFCs. In the case of conflicts with PKNIC policies, precedence will be given to the PKNIC policies, please review policies here

  • No adjudication is made by PKNIC and its agents as to whether the applicant has a legitimate right to a name. The applicant, in lodging the request for a name, informs the registry that they are entitled to use the name as requested.

  • Acceptance of the listing entry by PKNIC and its agents confers no rights to the applicant regarding the legitimacy or otherwise of the association of the name with the applicant, nor does it confer to the applicant any other rights associated with ownership of the name, or any rights to its use.

  • All registration information will be considered as information within the public domain, and will be accessible using the Internet as the publication vehicle. No provision is made concerning acceptance of information under any imposed condition of confidentiality or non-disclosure.

  • PKNIC reserves the right to refuse to register a name if most of the members of PKNIC Appeals Committee by voting or polling that it may be offensive.

  • Any domain that is registered by PKNIC and later found to be in violation of the PKNIC policies or this Agreement will be revoked and made available for others to register.

  • PKNIC has neither the resources nor the legal obligation to screen requested Domain Names to determine if the use of a Domain Name by an Applicant may infringe upon the right(s) of a third party. Consequently, as an express condition and material inducement of the grant of an applicant’s request to register a Domain Name, Applicant represents, agrees and warrants as follows:

    1. All information shared by applicant Must be genuine and based on that Applicant reserves the right to use the Domain Name as requested in the application.

    2. Applicant has a bona fide intention to use the Domain Name on a regular basis on the Internet.

    3. The use or registration of the Domain Name by Applicant does not interfere with or infringe the right of any third party in any jurisdiction with respect to trademark, service mark, tradename, company name or any other intellectual property right.

    4. Applicant is not seeking to use the Domain Name for any unlawful purpose, including, without limitation, tortious interference with contract or prospective business advantage, unfair competition, injuring the reputation of another, or for the purpose of confusing or misleading a person, whether natural or incorporated.

    5. PKNIC or Nexus WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS). REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF PKNIC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  • Order Processing Time for .pk Domain:

    • Dear All, We would like to inform you that from now onwards, all .pk domain orders are also available after 5 pm on daily basis and orders received after 5pm will be proceeded next day.

  • General Conditions:

    • Regular price will be charged till due date.

    • Regular price + Late fee will be charged after due date.

    • Regular price + Late fee + Redemption fee will be charged if grace period also lapsed, without renewal.

    • CNIC is Compulsory for all local clients, failing to share the CNIC or providing false information may lead to cancellation of domain registration immediately on identification.

    • Identification Number, Complete address, Valid Contact Number and Country Name are Compulsory for all International clients. Nexus reserves the right to terminate the domain on proof of any wrong information provided by the Client.

    • Any Domain Registered for local or International Customer Violating policy as intimated by Pakistan Interior Agency and PKNIC will be Shut down immediately.

    • Domain Control Panel is NOT included in .pk domain registration since it is Not provided by PKNIC.

    • Domain modifications for all .pk domain registrations will have to be carried out by contacting our Team via Nexus Support Portal

    • Customer may follow the predefined procedure as per PKNIC Registry for Correcting/Updating any Registrant Record Information of local or International Domains. Nexus will Not Be Responsible if Domain get Expired or Suspended during the procedure. Moreover, Nexus has the right to hold the renewal of such domain records.

    • DNS Zone Management & Domain Forwarder are not included and would be opted as an Add-on.

SSL Terms and Conditions

  • SSL can be installed for 1-year only, effected from September 1, 2020.
  • In case a client wants to pay for more than 1-year period then SSL will be installed for 1-year and remaining amount will be added as credit under billing profile for future use.
  • No refund, no transfer of credit request will be entertained
  • SSL certificate may be issued on same day but installation may take 24-48 hours.
  • Same SSL certificate renewal will not be possible if invoice is not paid before due date.
  • Client will not be able to transfer the certificate from one domain to another once it is installed.
  • In case of due order/unpaid invoice, order processing of SSL may vary from 2-3 working days or subject to clearance of invoice payment.
  • Nexus may not be liable for any warranty provided by SSL provider and in that case, client may need to pursue the SSL provider.
  • All pre-requisites must be emailed to support@nexus.pk for SSL installation else installation may cause delay as per customer’s response.


Renewal Cancellation Process:

  • Order cancellation/ domain modification is only possible within an hour or order.
  • In case of SSL renewal, you must request for the previous order cancellation.
  • After order, cancellation payment can be adjusted for another certification but there will be NO REFUND.
  • Cancellations over the phone or unregistered email or ticket are not accepted. Nexus does not monitor cancellations using this practice, and will not automatically cancel the order except from registered ID.

    • Basic Packages are recommended Only for Personal and Portfolio websites. We may not guarantee these services for Business websites.
    • All services exclusive of this package may be availed as an add-on that will be charged separately
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend the client’s website if their Disk space, Bandwidth, CPU Usage, Email or FTP accounts exceeds from their assigned limit.
    • Nexus may Not be responsible if client’s services got suspended on unauthorized use of resources.
    • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for hosting package recommendation. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the growth rate of your website. In other case, we may not guarantee the stability of your website.

Backup Terms

  • Free Monthly Backup service is included in all the Basic Hosting packages, as a courtesy to cover any Natural Disaster, Server Crash & Customer Negligence with 1 Month Retention & will be overrided in case of Next Backup. Client Can Request (1) One Restore for Free as included in Package. In Case of Cancellation, Termination & Crash, Nexus may not guarantee this courtesy backup.Monthly Backup Schedule: 1st of every month, Backup completion & availability May be dependent upon data size can vary from 1-2 days.

    However, in case of daily or weekly then Add-on service are to acquire in separate, we advise Clients to keep their own Backups as well to avoid any Inconvenience.

  • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.

.pk Domain Plus Hosting

    • All PK + Hosting Packages are minimum for 2 Year as per the PK domain Registration cycle.
    • Customers Have already PK domain with Nexus Can avail the Free domain facility by Acquiring any of the PK + Hosting package which billing & Sales department will Sync.
    • PK domain & Hosting is coupled in the Package and are not transferrable or exchangeable with any other domain or hosting package of client already with Nexus Technologies.
    • Upon Cancelation of package customer/ Client hosting Package will be Canceled, still PK domain will remain active for the said period and will be customer’s property.
    • Customers have the right to change the name server and can also transfer the domain following SOPS, client will be advice to reach billing@nexus.pk
    • SPAM / Mass Mail, Marketing Mail or breach of AUP will lead to suspension.
    • In-Case of Non-Payment Services will be suspended automatically.
    • After Registration of Domain & Hosting, upon cancelation of Package No refund will be claimed.

Reseller Hosting

    • All services exclusive of this package may be availed as an add-on that will be charged separately.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend the Reseller account, if their Disk space, Bandwidth, CPU Usage, Email or FTP accounts exceeds from their assigned limit.
    • Nexus may Not be responsible if Reseller’s services got suspended on unauthorized use of resources and we may not guarantee backup services in this case. Reseller is solely responsible for making back-up copies of the Reseller Websites and Content.
    • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for Reseller package recommendation. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the reseller clients and website usage. In other case, we may not guarantee the stability of your website.
    • Accounts under reseller packages will not be entertained for support via Nexus & will be directed to reseller.
    • Dedicated Support by reseller will be charged additionally in case reseller account is directing customers and account under his/her reseller account to nexus support, an invoice will be added automatically in Reseller Invoice.
    • Any customer under reseller account if is transferred to any packages is customer choice.
    • One (1) IP is used for the primary reseller account all IPless resold accounts. The remaining two (2) IPs are used for Private Nameservers.
    • Justification is required for all IP address assignments. All requests must comply with RFC2050.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.
    • Reseller will be responsible in case of any illegal and unauthorized use of resources by its reseller accounts and Nexus will not be liable to anyone in this case.

VPS & Dedicated Server Hosting

    • All services exclusive of this package may be availed as an add-on that will be charged separately.
    • Nexus may Not be responsible if client’s services got suspended on unauthorized use of resources and we may not guarantee backup services in this case.
    • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for Server recommendation. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the utilization and required resources. In other case, we may not guarantee the stability of your server.
    • Weekly and Monthly backups are maintained by Nexus and may be provided as an add-on in .tar and .gz file. In other case, Clients are advised to keep their own backups as well to avoid any inconvenience. However, in Case of Cancellation, Termination & Crash, Nexus may not guarantee this backup.
    • Nexus reserves the right to suspend your account on violation of Nexus Restricted content policy, Check AUP for more details.
    • Server Setup including Hardware Installation, OS and Software level updates may take 24-48 hours.
    • Managed and Unmanaged services will be provided as per the Client’s approval. Any support required for unmanaged server may be charged separately.

Hybrid Cloud Terms and Conditions

 

  • Nexus Technologies provides state of the art cloud solutions for your Website/Application. We are providing services from low end budget up to your desired requirements & You will get a secured solution for your Website/Application. Security is a primary concern for Nexus as the data of the customers are more important for us.
  • Note: If your Website/Application gets hacked, it doesn`t mean that your Dedicated cloud VM/server is hacked as, we are providing security for your Dedicated Cloud VM.
  • The Client agrees that the Hosting Provider is not liable for any bugs, performance issues or failure of their software / Application. Any bugs, performance issues or failure with the software will be directed responsibility of the Development team.
  • We advise our clients to consult our technical team for Any package. Our team will recommend the Best solution by keeping in mind the growth rate of your website or web solution.   • Client must agree to take full responsibility for his/her files/data transferred to and must maintain appropriate backup of his/her files/data stored on Nexus servers. Nexus will not be responsible for any data/file loss.
  • Nexus’s aim is to provide 100% uptime for all our services to our clients but maintenance at our datacentres will be required, every 2-3 months.
  • Nexus strictly forbids websites with adult graphic content (softcore and/or hardcore), including but not limited to, banner advertising, any adult website(s), child pornography, and distribution of adult website passwords. On violation of this policy, Nexus reserves the right to terminate Client’s account without notice and are subject to a maximum clean-up/disconnect fee.   • Nexus will inform 24 hours prior to maintenance activity to all the clients via email on registered email addresses provided by the customer. In addition, we also advise all our customers to back up their latest data before the planned maintenance activity to avoid any inconvenience.
  • Any Customization for Nexus Cloud Packages / Dedicated Cloud VM will not be entertained. After order processed.
  • Cloud Packages / Dedicated Cloud VM setup may take up to 4 hours to 12 hours depending on the client’s requirement after the order is done.
  • Bandwidth’s limit will be as per the selected package by the customer. However, Customer can request for an additional bandwidth and it will be considered as an add-on and charged as per additional bandwidth policy. For details, Check our Addons
  • By ordering for any Hybrid Cloud Package, Client will automatically be accepting our all Policies

 

Package Upgrade & Downgrade

 

  • Customers may upgrade or shift to new upgraded Cloud package / Hybrid Cloud VM. Pre-requisites for upgrading includes customer request via registered email address through client area. Upgrade process requires a minimum of 15-30 minutes of downtime in case node is full with resources. Nexus support team will coordinate with the customer with-in 2 hours of the up-gradation request.
  • Customers are only allowed to upgrade an existing Hybrid Cloud VM Packages to higher packages; down-gradation of cloud packages is not permissible.

 

Billing Cycle

 

  • Nexus is Liable to Suspend and recover the difference amount in case any customer is underpaying subject to advertised price.
  • All orders will be processed after the payment clearance. Customer will pay in advance for their desired or selected Hybrid Cloud VM Packages & Nexus Cloud package, Billing Cycle starts from the date of start of commence of services of every month.
  • NO Refund – In case of Cancelation of services, any refund will be adjusted in the form or credit with your account.
  • Nexus will NOT be responsible for any Data Loss after the services are stopped due to non-payment. However, it is advised to Customers that please inform Nexus regarding their payment delay issue.
  • Customers Must have to pay before the due date with 3 days’ grace period. If customer is unable to pay his/her bill within the grace period, all services will be Suspended without any further notice. Unsuspension will be subject to clearance of all dues.
  • Termination: 5 days after the grace period, Machine will be terminated.


Backup Policy

  • NO Backup of Hybrid Cloud VM Packages & Cloud Packages are maintained other than those who have opted Backup as an Addon Service
  • Backup Type would be i.e. Server Image / Snapshot Image
  • Custom Backup Requirement other than default then Customer need to reach up to Support & Billing Staff, it will be charged as an Addon Services and will be billed separately.

  • Backup retention period as per policy is as below once in a month, only 1 backup will be maitained which will be overwrited, once new Backup is generated. Nexus will back up its customers Dedicated cloud VM / Could Packages as per the opted Backup subscription addon, below is the subscription detail for Backup execution:

    a. Monthly Snapshot Backup cycle : Last Sunday 30th/31st of Every Month 12:00 Midnight as Per PST
    b. Weekly Snapshot Backup cycle : Each Weekly Sunday within Every Month 12:00 Midnight as Per PST

  • Customer can request for restoration process only once in a month, additional restoration requests will charge to customer as an Add-on service and will be billed separately.
  • Nexus will be responsible for the restoration of Dedicated Cloud VM only. Any data within your website/application doesn’t fall in the backup policy of Nexus Technologies. Data within website/application will be customer’s responsibility.

Terms & Conditions for Portfolio Bundle Package

 

  • Only 100% advance payment is acceptable within 1-2 days of order addition. In case the customer fails to pay within the desired time then the order will be considered cancelled as, there will be no initiation of project without paid invoice.
  • Payment will be non-refundable & non-negotiable.
  • Client will provide content and maximum material along Logo to Sales Staff to proceed further with the Website development.
  • In case of Logo Designing, additional services cost will be added to the bundle package.
  • Any delay from client side regarding content provision, communication & feedback will have a direct impact on project timeline & after exceeding 7 working days, additional service charges will be incurred to proceed further with the project.
    Please Note: Portfolio Website development is a one-time project within a constant time frame so, any extension in timeline will affect the project budget as well.
  • In case Customer wants to opt any other services then respective payment for the select package will be charged accordingly.
  • For recurring services client will need to pay on monthly or quarterly basis.
  • In case of an informed delay due to valid reasons, Nexus will hold the services and keep all credentials and rights preserved for a period of 30 days, after that Nexus will no longer be responsible for any data regarding Client’s website.
  • Selected bundle package and project scope are non-negotiable.
    Please Note: Any other feature, module outside the provided and selected template will not be entertained in this bundle package

 

Terms & Conditions for Ecommerce & Enterprise Packages

 

    • If number of pages exceeds the given limit, every additional page will be charged as an additional work.
    • Any feature that is not mentioned in Project Scope will be charged as an add-on.
    • Completion time only inculdes working days.(weekend and public holidays excluded)
    • Any query/change request made via telephone will not be honoured until and unless confirmed in writing via email
    • Nexus cannot accept responsibility for web pages which do not display acceptably in new versions of browsers released after the website have been designed and handed over to the Client.
    • If the Client’s website is to be installed on a third-party server, Nexus must be granted temporary read/write access to the Client’s storage directories which must be accessible via FTP/Cpanel.
    • Essential content including text and specific images is to be supplied by the Client prior to commencement of development. Delays in delivery of content will extend time taken to complete the development.
    • All the content provided by the client shall remain the sole property of client, and client shall be the sole owner of all rights in connection therewith.
    • Client is responsible for complying with all relevant laws relating to e-commerce, and defend and indemnify Nexus from any claim, penalty, tax, tariff loss or damage arising from your or your clients’ use of Internet electronic commerce.
    • We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to make revisions to the design. However, we have the right to limit the number of design proposals to a reasonable amount and may charge for additional designs if you make a change to the original design specification.
    • Both parties may cancel web development service at any time by giving at least 1 week prior notice.
    • If Agreement is terminated by any party (Clients or Nexus) prior to completion of the website, a calculation on work completed and unbilled will be made, including all work in progress and this payment is required by the Client within seven (7) days.
    • Nexus reserves the right to decline further work on a project if there are invoices outstanding with the Client.
    • Nexus is not responsible for errors on third party software.
    • For Standard Package: Nexus will keep a copy of the site and design source files when a website project is being worked on. However, the Client agrees that it is their responsibility to have regular backups made by themselves or the third party hosting services in case of a software or hardware failure at the third party hosting servers.
    • All fees quoted for projects exclude web hosting, domain name registration, copywriting, stock imagery, font licenses, liaising/setting up hosting or email, purchasing of third party plugins, or any other conditions outlined in the proposal document.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

  • Nexus Technologies reserves the right to cancel any project if the Client’s Focal person didn’t contact Nexus team or fail to clear their dues within 1 month of Project timeline. In that case, any payment made by the Client earlier will be Non-refundable and Nexus will not remain liable to deliver the product.
  • Any extension in Project timeline will be charged as 10% of the actual amount on per week basis.

 

Payment Policy

 

  • 50% Advance payment after signing agreement (Nonrefundable).
  • 40% After design approval (Nonrefundable).
  • 10% After User Approval and Before Website launch (Nonrefundable).
